Beach Bum Rum Gets a Bold New Look
Mauritian rum brand Beach Bum Rum has launched a striking new bottle design this summer across key global markets. The refresh showcases the brand’s island heritage, craft spirit, and eco-conscious values through custom glass moulds, sugarcane-fibre labels, and a cork featuring Mauritius’s landscapes.
Beach Bum Rum Gets a Bold New Look
Beach Bum Rum’s updated packaging covers both its Gold and Silver expressions, reflecting a more defined visual identity in line with its artisanal approach. This marks the first time the brand has developed a bespoke bottle mould, aiming to boost shelf impact and elevate the product’s appeal to modern drinkers.
At the heart of the new design is sustainability. Labels are now printed on paper made from 95% recycled sugarcane fibre, honouring Mauritius’s historic sugarcane roots and reducing the brand’s environmental footprint.
The updated visuals stay true to Beach Bum’s relaxed island vibe with colourful illustrations inspired by local landscapes. Each bottle is topped with a new cork stopper adorned with a map of the island, blending visual appeal with storytelling.
CEO David Adamson said, “This new packaging further tells the story of where we come from, how we craft, and who we are. It’s more than a visual upgrade – it’s a celebration of Mauritius and a reflection of the premium quality we’ve always delivered.”
As part of the rollout, Beach Bum is launching a revamped marketing campaign aimed at craft spirit enthusiasts, bartenders, and retailers. The brand is setting its sights on broader international appeal, following its recent expansion into northern Germany and Denmark through a partnership with Taster Wine Vertriebs.
This bold packaging shift isn’t just cosmetic—it signals Beach Bum Rum’s evolution. With a sharper identity, greener practices, and global ambitions, the brand is ready to make bigger waves in the rum world while staying grounded in its Mauritian roots.
